About This Job:
Working knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
Conduct CMM inspections of miscellaneous parts, gauges and tooling as required.
Conduct miscellaneous surface plate inspections and hand-held gauge setup/calibration as required.
Must be able to interact and assist with Manufacturing and Engineering personnel in regards to part conformance and process capability.
Assist in training other employees in operation of CMM.
Perform the duties of a final layout inspector as required.
Maintains good housekeeping practices at all times.

Requirements CMM OPPERATOR
Experience with PC-DMIS (Brown & Sharpe)
Experience with Chrysler-Driven, Ford and GM Programs an asset.
Must be able to test parts on a fixture, testing for this will be included in interview.
Can Be Off Shift.
Knowledge and Education *Post Secondary education or Engineering designation,
Work Experience *Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer within a TIER 1 or TIER 2 QS 9000 company *GD&T experience as well as 8D’s a must
Skills and Competencies *Must have excellent communication skills.
